About Us
I'm Chris and my family and I own, raise, train, show and sell Percheron Draft Horses that typically weight right around a ton, hence the blog title.
This blog mostly will contain current events in my life long adventure with horses. It can sometimes be a bumpy road but the joys far out weight the heartache that comes with the territory of owning horses.
We are pretty mainstream. We recently moved to the Eastern Tennesse area and enjoy spending our time participating in shows, parades and other horsey events.
Our farm site is Whispering Meadows Percherons. Like all things in our life, it's a work in progress.

I'm envious. My husband and I have a dream of raising draft horses when we retire. Now we on a side trip of raising grandchildren and having to work longer. Thanks for stopping by my blog and I will be a regular visitor here.
