About Us
I'm Chris and my family and I own, raise, train, show and sell Percheron Draft Horses that typically weight right around a ton, hence the blog title.
This blog mostly will contain current events in my life long adventure with horses. It can sometimes be a bumpy road but the joys far out weight the heartache that comes with the territory of owning horses.
We are pretty mainstream. We recently moved to the Eastern Tennesse area and enjoy spending our time participating in shows, parades and other horsey events.
Our farm site is Whispering Meadows Percherons. Like all things in our life, it's a work in progress.

Great Pictures!! Your horses are so gorgeous! I wish I had a cart similar to the one you're driving (the 2 wheel). I have a doctor's buggy... and it's ok, but I'd prefer to have the 2-wheel cart instead. Of course I'm still trying to get new harnessing for my girls too (all I've got is the work harness that came with them), but that's not happened yet. Hopefully one day though!!
